ChemBrain IXL - Adding a Chemical Reaction, extending the Chemical Knowledge Database
A chemical reaction is entered in a standardized way in a reaction datasheet which contains textual input fields for the title, keywords, reaction conditions and general text and two graphical areas for the reactants and product. The input procedures of the structure of the starting material and the product are very similar to the input of a molecule to the structure database. However, a few conventions have to be followed, which are described in detail in the ever-present online-help.
A typical reaction datasheet looks as depicted in the screenshot example.
ChemBrain allows you to not only add a new reaction datasheet but also to edit any of the nearly 2'600 reactions already present, e.g. to add further references to the existing ones or to add comments.
